DPS Amritsar

REACHA launched a SAMEER CLUB at DPS, Amritsar on 19-20th February 2005 through a 2-day workshop – “The Magical Colours of Maitreya.” The Club was inaugurated by Sri Jaswal, Chief Engineer, PSEB (Punjab State Electricity Board). Others present on the occasion were the school Principal Mrs Sangeeta Singh and Sri Aakash Khandelwal, Member Secretary, Beas Healthcare and Education Society. Sri Khandelwal was instrumental in enabling effective networking between DPS, PSEB and REACHA .

The DPS children have identified two areas of work that need immediate attention as part of the SAMEER CLUB activities in DPS Amritsar – Energy Conservation (on lines of the NDPL Energy Club), and Clean Amritsar Campaign.
