Him Jyoti School Dehra Dun

Himjyoti School is a unique institution in Dehra Dun, Uttarakhand, India. Here, the most meritorious girls from the hill state get a 100% freeship for their education as well as boarding in school. The critical input here is that these girls belong to the poorest of the poor families in Uttarakhand.

A team of highly trained and motivated teachers imparts teaching to these deserving girls from Class V upwards. Each year a competitive entrance test is conducted in March to decide who qualifies as per the norms of merit and economic status.
