REACHA's concept of SAMEER Club (Social Action Movement for Education and Eco-Restoration) has already been adopted by numerous corporate houses as part of their CSR work through schools. The Club has now evolved into SMCs (Student Management Committees) as part of CCE (Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation) under the new CBSE approach to child development. CCE stands to benefit from our work in this area done over the last two decades through direct social action.
REACHA welcomes schools systems to partner it in this mission to develop every child in accordance with her/his talents and nurture this attribute for a noble cause. College volunteers will also play a vital role in further evolving our Teacher Training programme through which we propose to reach a larger number of school children cross the country.
REACHA has made significant contribution to Project Based Learning (PBL) under the mentorship of its Member Secretary, Nikhil Pant. A presentation made to 500 CBSE "Sahodaya" School Principals in December 2011 briefly explains this approach to integrated child development as part of CCE. Click here to download.
Mr Pant has also been assisting CBSE in 2012 in developing Teaching Training resource material/handbooks for better implementation of CCE in Delhi Government Schools.
